Send JobWay-recorded payments to Xero when they are ready, while Xero-side payment changes are brought back into JobWay automatically.

Does JobWay replace Xero?
No. JobWay is for managing clients, quotes, jobs, invoices and day-to-day work. Xero remains your accounting and bookkeeping system. The integration is designed to reduce duplicate data entry between the two.
What does JobWay send to Xero?
For linked workflows, JobWay can send customer/contact information, invoices and payments to Xero. You choose the Xero sales account, tax rates and payment account used by the integration.
Do payments entered in Xero update JobWay?
Yes. For linked invoices, JobWay uses Xero webhooks to bring relevant payment updates back into JobWay automatically. A manual check remains available as a recovery option if needed.
Will JobWay change my Xero invoice numbering?
No. Xero keeps its own invoice numbering. JobWay stores the JobWay invoice number in Xero's Reference field so the records are easy to match.
Can I disconnect Xero?
Yes. You can disconnect the integration from JobWay. Disconnecting removes the Xero connection and link metadata without deleting your underlying JobWay clients, invoices or payments.
