1. Information we collect

• Account and contact information: name, work email, phone number, business name and support messages.
• Business records: clients, jobs, notes, quotes, invoices, payments, documents and settings you add to JobWay.
• Subscription information: plan, billing status and transaction references. Card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by JobWay.
• Technical and usage information: IP address, browser, device, pages viewed, actions taken, referral source and campaign identifiers such as UTM parameters, GCLID or FBCLID.
• Communications: emails and other messages sent to or from JobWay.

2. Why we use information

We use information to provide and secure accounts, deliver requested features, send transactional emails, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, diagnose errors, improve JobWay, measure marketing performance and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

3. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Essential cookies support security, authentication, attribution handoff and user preferences. With your permission, we may use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity to understand website use, measure advertising campaigns, create audiences and improve the customer journey.

When optional tracking is declined, we send Google consent signals that restrict advertising and analytics storage and do not load Meta Pixel or Microsoft Clarity through our website code. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” control in the website footer.

4. Service providers

We use service providers where needed to operate JobWay. These may include Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Vercel and Railway for hosting, database and infrastructure providers, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection, Upstash for rate limiting, Google for analytics and advertising measurement, Meta for advertising measurement, and Microsoft Clarity for product analytics.

Providers process information under their own privacy terms and our arrangements with them. Depending on the provider and configuration, information may be processed or stored outside Australia, including in the United States, European Union or Singapore. We take reasonable steps appropriate to the service and information involved.

5. Disclosure

We may disclose information to service providers, professional advisers, regulators or authorities where reasonably necessary to operate JobWay, protect users, enforce agreements, complete a business transaction or comply with law. We do not give advertisers access to the contents of your JobWay account.

6. Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and maintain security. Backups may remain for a limited period after deletion. Marketing attribution cookies set by our website expire after the period described in our implementation, currently up to 90 days, while consent preferences may be retained for up to 180 days.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls, encrypted connections, bot protection and service monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Access, correction and deletion

You may request access to personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or request account deletion, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. You may also withdraw optional analytics consent through Cookie settings.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as JobWay or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will be published on this page.
